Don't Panic

The last party at Fenario, August 7th 2009. Fenario, my home for six years and the central hub for our little circle of friends for seven years, would be vacant two days after these photos were taken. A sad, sad thing indeed. As I was looking back on my recent photo sets I found the ‘Fenario Found Objects’ set and where I noted I would be adding to it later. Now I realize that there will be no more Found Fenario Objects. Nor will there be any more of these parties, or hanging out, or Fenario Game Night, or rehearsals for our many bands, or recording sessions, or late night drinking, or porch sitting, or gas tank riding, or sitting in the cold after the gas has run out, or frightening trips to the basement, or quiet evenings with George Jones, or quiet evenings with John Hartford, or quite evenings with Q.I., or Shelby’s/Jackson’s home cooked-meals, or Scotts building media centers for the house to enjoy, or Natalie setting things on fire, or Beth making up silly songs, or Slim parading around the house in the same pair of shorts, or Des practicing the trumpet or setting up giant Fish Tanks. Or a hundred other things. So enjoy, if you please, this last set of photography from the late, great, always to be remembered Fenario.
